These pieces from LeLutka Mode have been out for a while, but since I had these photos laying around and the pieces are so beautiful and well made as one expects from LeLutka, I had to showcase them anyway. Featured are the Foxtrot Dress in brown, the Irinuska Bolero and Anzehelina Hat in warm, Boel Bag with HUD and fabulous Miel Lia boots with Lia Socks in coco which is a knee hi sock prim (boots are scripted to change color) and they are awesome and match the outfit well. Earrings and necklace are Knight’s Honor from Paper Couture, ring is Paper Couture Times Square Ring, hair is from Truth. Can’t wait to check out the new skins @ LeLutka released this week, they are already getting rave reviews!

I saw this outfit at Chick Limited (similar to the Dressing Room, if you aren’t familiar) by Indyra Origninals and had to have it, it was just so different from what I normally wear and it was white, quite a departure for me. I loved the lace up pants and the top that incorporated sculpts. I did have to edit the sculpts a bit, and the photo was taken at Elate! while doing the Season’s Hunt!

It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged. I’ve taken tons of photos, but RL intervenes and I don’t seem to get around to posting them, so I’ll be putting up a lot of fun looks I’ve had laying around my computer lately, as I still love the looks! I rarely spend time in SL as anything but “human”, but upon going to Mynerva to get the great Plain Jane skin shown here, I had to get the cute Elven ears too, and decided to build a look around it, inspired by this old Fifty Linden Friday jacket with cool pins. I especially loved it, because I am a NYer, and it included an I <3 NY pin! Photos are taken in my prior home, which I dearly loved!

I originally created/named my AV for RP on SL, which never materialized. Of course, my first name often makes people think I am going to “bite” them, but don’t worry, I’m a pretty harmless Vamp. When I first rezzed, I walked around in a lot of cool Gothic garb, which I still love, but as time went by, Vamp became more well rounded and “fashion” forward. There are days (and nights) when I love to go back to the Gothic maven of old. Today’s look is inspired by that with an outfit inspired from one of the best (IMHO) Gothic creators on the grid, Avid. The outfit comes with a beak, not worn (but very Siouxsie & The Banshees from Peekaboo) some other options not shown like wicked prim nails, a gothic choker in lieu of the “wings” on the shoulders, their own hat and a bindi and no bindi option. Plus if you take off pieces, this outfit can be worn multiple more ways. The only thing I never cared for in Avid’s exquisite outfits, which I have plenty of…is their prim boots. Oh well, no worries, I have plenty in the overstuffed invy, but if you need some stompers, this outfit has them included! I love the hat and hair by Gritty Kitty. This was the first hair I ever purchased on the grid and still <3 it to this day. The hat, hat band and feathers are all scripted and have color change options. This outfit is a lot of bang for the buck, as it has so many ways to be worn, so don’t be put off with the “up front” price tag!

New Emerald Anti-Privacy – Discussion, Poll & Feedback

I have to say, and I even state it in my profile, I offline people at times. It’s not a slap in the face and I make people aware of the fact I do it. If I am blogging, creating or just in an intense convo or whatever, there are times I don’t want to be disturbed and it’s a better “do not disturb” sign than “away” or “busy” for many reasons. I make it clear if people have a problem with me for doing so occasionally, please ping me or send me a NC to discuss it. I have lost a “friend” or two over the practice, but hey, this is *my* SL. The new Emerald takes that totally away. Of course you can buy scripts, HUDS and tools that tell a person’s real online status and give you plenty of other information, but most people don’t waste time and energy with that unless they are in RP sims or griefers for the most part. Now that it’s just plain easy and built in as an easy default, there are going to be a lot of people with noses out of joint because they feel “slighted” and others who feel intruded upon.

I have never allowed anyone to see my status on the in world map. Not even my partner, although when he is online, we are together or he and I know how and where to locate one another. That being said, I’m an outgoing but private person in RL and I am so in SL. If I don’t grant anyone, even the SL person closest to me that access, why would I want the whole metaverse knowing where I am? Boy, talk about keeping having to keep your friends list on tight lock down with that shizzle going on.

The new cookies policy is just all wrong to me too. ‘Nuff said about it in the linked post. I was one of the first people to switch to Emerald before it took over as the primary viewer on the grid. I never thought I’d dis Emerald, no less abandon it. Being a total tech geek in RL, I personally am loving the social media format of 2.0 and at this point, unless changes are made to Emerald regarding privacy, I will be a permanent 2.0 convert, beta - schmeta.

So that’s my rant for today as I continue to weed through the overstuffed invy and dig out of obscene amounts of snow in RL.

Well it’s epic snow today and I am just back from digging out my SUV from 9′ mounds of snow drifts. Getting ready for a little Fifty Linden Friday “action” and figured I’d dress for a day of shopping in my new +grasp+ leather ruffled mini. Say “hi” if you see me fighting the lag with the rest of you for todays goodies. Too bad I already paid full boat under two AV’s for those Kookie Aramada Boots. For $50L’s those are a lotta shoe!
